Motivated by a love for horses, The Stables at Meadowood, has been a full service boarding facility since the 1970s. The property was acquired by the Bureau of Land Management and barn services are now run by Allison Mills of CAS Company Management Services, LLC. The barn is nestled in the beautiful land of Mason Neck, Virginia and sits on 324961348 acres. Meadowood Stables offers a variety of services including boarding, summer camps, and lessons. The Stables at Meadowood is a family friendly atmosphere and we can’t wait to be a part of your horse adventures!

Allison has been the operations manager of Meadowood stables since 2010. She oversees all operations at the stables as well as being an Intermediate instructor. Allion's love for the animal guides her teaching methods and focuses on creating a bond with the horse.

IEA
The Interscholastic Equestrian Association is a nonprofit organization that gives youth in grades 4-12 the opportunity to compete in team and individual equestrian competition without the financial outlay of owning a horse.

NCAEL
The National Capital Adult Equitation League provides the opportunity for adult riders who don't have their own horse to be a part of a team and compete in a show league with barns across Maryland and Virginia. Riders "catch-ride" on a horse from the host team and are judged on their equitation on the flat and over fences.

Our Summer Camps run from 9:30-1:00 Monday-Friday. Activities vary everyday but riding happens everyday. There will also be time for lunch and it is highly encouraged for each child to bring their own water.

Birthday parties
Birthday parties include a hay ride around the farm, educational pony session, pony rides, and a craft. Price depends on the number of children.
